‘Troubling’ Signs of Myanmar Food Price Rises Since Coup: U.N. Agency | World News

(Reuters) – The U.N. food agency said on Tuesday rising food and fuel prices in Myanmar since a Feb. 1 military coup risk undermining the ability of poor families to feed themselves.

Culinary community in Santa Fe area mourns young Native chef | Local News

Kyle Pacheco found his calling in cooking and was a beloved star and graduate of Santa Fe Community College’s culinary arts program.

Pacheco died unexpectedly last week at age 27. The cause of his death is unclear, although some acquaintances said he died in his sleep at his home in Santo Domingo Pueblo, also known as Kewa Pueblo.

Pacheco learned how to cook traditional Kewa food from his grandmother and eventually blended that knowledge with the understanding of how to prepare more conventional plates.

North Coast Grub, a new food delivery service that charges restaurants nothing to participate, is launching Wednesday.

Jakki Millo, who runs the food delivery service The Rock Eats in Castle Rock, Washington, said she was encouraged by local restaurants to expand to the coast.

CAUGHT ON CAM: Food delivery driver steals family’s puppy after dropping off pizza, police say | News Headlines

(Meredith) – A food delivery driver was charged with grand theft after allegedly stealing a family’s puppy on his delivery route.

The act was caught on camera at the condo in Jacksonville, Florida.

On Saturday, Kimberly Block ordered a pizza through Grubhub. Police said after dropping off the pizza, delivery driver Arlinson Chilito, 22, stole the family’s 10-month-old teacup poodle named Lexi.

When Chilito arrived with the food at the family’s condo, Lexi went out the door. Police said Chilito then grabbed the dog, and surveillance video from the condo’s elevator shows Chilito hiding the puppy in a delivery
