Sweetwater Italian restaurant corrects nearly a dozen violations

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Loudon County cafe experienced approximately a dozen violations marked down in its inspection report.

The quality at Vittorino’s Italian on Highway 72 North was just over failing with a 71. Any grade down below 70 is considered a failure.

The inspector writes he observed a kitchen area worker touching prepared-to-take in food with his bare arms. A different kitchen area employee was observed placing on a glove, but did not he did not clean his arms initial as demanded by wellness policies.

When the inspector checked the dishwasher, no sanitizer was functioning through the cycle. A sanitizing solution is needed. The formerly washed dishes ended up rewashed and sanitized.
