IRISH households are forking out an average of €160 for each month on junk foods, in accordance to a new study.
Statistics from supermarkets reveals that families with children used on common around €746 on groceries in April 2022.
Of this, €159 (21 for each cent) was spent on meals like biscuits, crisps and chocolate.
In distinction, a mere €49 (6.6 per cent) was expended on fruit and €37 (5 per cent) on veggies.
