Drew Barrymore has been busy redesigning her kitchen, taking fans along for the ride as she transforms her monochromatic wood-toned space into a glorious color-filled oasis using her brand new FLOWER Home Paint collection.

After a couple of weeks of updates via Instagram, Barrymore has shared the finished product, and the results are everything. It’s the kitchen of dreams!

“It’s done. Weeks of relentless editing cleaning curating and determination and here is the AFTER #FLOWERPAINT and taking my design vision from my head to reality !!!! I’m so lucky” Barrymore wrote in an Instagram post that announced the new-look kitchen.

Walking viewers through the stunning redo, Barrymore shows off her impressive space that includes a variety of neutrals and brights from her paint range with Walmart.com.

“I’m so happy with the way everything came out,” Barrymore says as she welcomes viewers into the newly designed kitchen. “and I lived in it, and I paid attention to every detail,”

The walls, island, and upper cabinets are painted with FLOWER Home Paint’s “Palm Leaf Green“, while the lower cabinetry, pantry doors, and ceiling are all painted with FLOWER Home Paint’s versatile beige shade, “Toasted Almond“.

“It already looks lived in, and it’s so much cleaner, and more open than it was,” Barrymore continues.

In an earlier Instagram video posted while in the midst of the planning stages, Barrymore shared some helpful tips on how to visualize a final design using an iPad.

“What I want to suggest to people is take pictures and get your little pen out…and then draw so that you can almost make your own plans.” According to Barrymore, this way of designing helps you keep within your scale and better see how things are going to look when the final design is complete.

“It’s such a great way to communicate with people because you can say, ‘This is exactly what I’m thinking,’” she continued. “So, it leaves less to the imagination and accidental interpretation.”
